ServicesCustom website design
Custom website design with a cinematic eye.
For brands that live by their image: studios, events, culture and products that need a site unlike anyone else’s. I direct the art, design every page and build it by hand, with an editor shaped around your content so your team runs it from day one.
What’s included
- 01
Art direction
The look, the type, the photography and the motion, decided as a whole before any code, like the look of a film.
- 02
Design, page by page
Every template designed with your real content, on phone and desktop, and reviewed with you before it’s built.
- 03
Built with Astro
Pages built ahead of time and served from a CDN: fast on any connection, secure and with little to maintain.
- 04
An editor shaped around your content
A headless CMS such as Sanity, set up with your projects, events or products as fields to fill in, not pages to lay out.
- 05
Motion with a purpose
Transitions, focus pulls and reveals that guide the eye, each with a reduced-motion version.
- 06
Languages, SEO and handover
Each language at its own address, structured data, analytics and a training session for your team.
Why custom, and not a template
A template decides how your site looks before it knows what you do. For many businesses that’s fine. But if your work is visual (a studio, a festival, a product people buy with their eyes), the website is part of the work, and it has to show. I design it from your material: your footage, your rhythm, your words.
Film techniques, on a screen
I come from art direction and film. Focus, the cut, the colour grade and the slow push-in all work on a website when they’re used with restraint: they tell the visitor where to look, and in what order. Try them in the demo above.
Only the code each page needs
This website is built this way, and so is nomadictmedia.com: no theme and no page builder, only the code each page needs, and pages that change with the browser’s own transitions.
Your team runs it
Custom doesn’t mean depending on me. The editor is built around your content (projects, dates, people), so changing the site means filling in fields, and I train your team before launch.
Process
Made like a film.
A project runs like a production: script, shoot, post and release. You always know what comes next and when I need you.
Pre‑production
Strategy, structure and art direction. You see the script and the look of your site before any code.
You · BriefingShoot
Design and development, built around your real content, not placeholders.
You · Design reviewPost‑production
Motion, content and polish, checked on real phones and screens.
You · Final reviewRelease
SEO, analytics and a handover session. From launch day your team runs it.

Questions
How much does a custom website cost?
It depends on the number of templates, the languages, the motion and the content. After a first call I send you a written quote with everything it includes.
What is a headless CMS?
An editor that stores your content without deciding how it looks. The website reads it and shows it in its own design, and the same content can feed an app or a newsletter.
Why Astro and not WordPress?
Astro sends finished pages with only the code each one needs, so the site is fast and has fewer moving parts to update. If your team needs WordPress, I build that instead, without a page builder.
How long does it take?
Around eight weeks from the first meeting to launch, in four phases: pre-production, shoot, post-production and release. You’ll have a schedule with dates before we start.
Can you shoot the content too?
Yes. With Nomadict Media, the content studio I run with my brother, we film and photograph on location, so the site opens with your own footage.
Do you work outside Spain?
Yes. I work from Valencia with clients in Spain and abroad, in English and Spanish, with calls and shared reviews at every phase.

- Questions to ask before hiring a web designerTen questions for choosing who builds your website, with the answer you should hear and the warning signs. The same ones I’d like people to ask me.

- How long does it take to build a custom website?A medium-sized custom website takes about eight weeks if the content is ready. What stretches it, what shortens it and how the time splits, phase by phase.
