Hotel website design that makes guests book direct.

I design and build websites for hotels, resorts and holiday rentals: pages that show what it feels like to be there, load fast on a phone and take the guest to your booking engine in a couple of taps. Your team updates rooms, offers and photos without calling anyone.

What’s included

  1. 01

    Art direction and design

A look built from your place: its light, its materials, its rhythm. No hotel template that could belong to anyone.

  2. 02

    Rooms and offers you edit

Each room, villa or package is a block with its photos, capacity and features. Your team adds and changes them in the editor, and the design holds.

  3. 03

    Your booking engine, connected

The booking button leads to the engine you already use, from every page and always in reach on a phone. Where your engine allows it, the guest’s dates go with them.

  4. 04

    Several languages, done properly

Each language has its own address and its own words, so guests from each market find you in their own search, not through a machine translation.

  5. 05

    Speed, SEO and accessibility

Images and video at the right size, structured data that describes your hotel to Google, and accessibility checked against WCAG, which European law now asks of many businesses that take bookings online.

  6. 06

Film and photography, if you need them

With Nomadict Media, the content studio I run with my brother, we can shoot on location, so the site opens with your own footage instead of stock.

Anatomy of a hotel website

Opening

Five seconds to say where you are, what it’s like and why this place. Your own photo or a short clip, and a line that says what the place is, not “welcome”.

The photos are mine, from my work for Nay Palad Hideaway.

A hotel website on a phone, part by part: what each one is for.

Why a hotel needs its own website

Booking platforms bring guests, but they take a commission on every stay and show you next to your competitors. Your own website is the one place where the guest sees only you, and where a booking pays no platform commission. It doesn’t replace the platforms: it gives guests a reason to book direct, the first time or the second.

Designed from the place, not from a template

I’m an art director as well as a developer, and I spent a month on location filming for a resort in Siargao with Nomadict Media. That’s where I start a hotel website: what the place feels like at seven in the morning, which room people remember, what they photograph. The design comes from there, so the site couldn’t belong to the hotel next door.

Built for the phone, where guests decide

A large share of hotel searches happen on a phone. So the page is designed for one hand first: dates and the booking button always in reach, photos that load quickly on any connection, and the address and how to get there one tap away.

Your team keeps it alive

A hotel changes every season: new offers, rooms closed for works, a new menu. I build the editor around your content, so reception or marketing can change it in minutes, and I train them at handover.

Process

Made like a film.

A project runs like a production: script, shoot, post and release. You always know what comes next and when I need you.

Questions

How much does a hotel website cost?

It depends on the number of rooms and languages, whether you need photography and how much content there is. I don’t work with set rates: after a first call I send you a written quote with everything it includes.

Can you connect my booking engine?

Yes. I link the website to the booking engine you already use, so availability and payments stay where they are now. If you don’t have one yet, I’ll help you weigh the options.

Will it be built on WordPress?

It can be. For hotels that want to keep WordPress I build a theme of their own with native blocks; for those that want the fastest site and a tailored editor, I use Astro with a headless CMS. I’ll recommend one after seeing your team and your content.

How long does it take?

About eight weeks from the first meeting to launch for a typical hotel website, in four phases. Photography, many languages or many rooms add time; you’ll have a schedule with dates before we start.

Can you also shoot the photos and video?

Yes, with Nomadict Media, the content studio I run with my brother. We shoot on location, and the website, social channels and campaigns share the same footage.

I already have a website. Can you redesign it?

Yes. I start by measuring the current site and mapping every old address to its new one, so you keep what Google already knows about you.
